The FRIENDS OF THE CALCASIEU PARISH PUBLIC LIBRARY is a non-profit group of citizens who work together to help our Public Library better serve the community. It is funded by tax-deductible memberships and contributions. The FRIENDS believe that the Library is a vital center of communication that affects the quality and advancement of education. The CALCASIEU FRIENDS is the umbrella organization for nine local chapters at thirteen branches.
